Towards Smarter, More Autonomous and Secure Networks
Platinium
Ericsson is a global leader in communications technology, helping service providers build intelligent, secure, efficient and sustainable networks. Its long-standing collaboration with Orange combines technological expertise and joint innovation to transform advances in AI, automation, cybersecurity and network programmability into concrete value, trusted digital services and the next generation of mobile networks.
At Orange OpenTech 2026, Ericsson will present three demonstrations addressing key challenges for tomorrow’s networks. Visitors will discover how AI embedded in the radio network can improve performance, efficiency and automation; how Ericsson Security Manager strengthens the cyber resilience of increasingly critical 5G infrastructure; and how Integrated Sensing and Communication can use mobile infrastructure to detect and track drones. Together, these demonstrations mobilize Ericsson’s expertise in AI-powered networks, cybersecurity and 6G research, illustrating how Ericsson and Orange are preparing more autonomous, secure and trusted networks that create value beyond connectivity.

AI-Powered Radio Networks
Making mobile networks more agile with AI.
As demand for connectivity soars and digital applications become more diverse, the ability of mobile networks to adapt is increasingly important.
This demo shows how AI is transforming the radio access network (RAN), from dynamically adapting connections and intelligent beamforming to real-time traffic optimization and predictive analytics.
Beyond technical performance, this approach opens the door to a new generation of digital services, including self-adapting networks, personalized user experiences, and proactive incident management.
By combining technical expertise with a forward-looking vision, Ericsson and Orange show how innovation can deliver tangible value and support more reliable, efficient, and sustainable digital services.

Security Manager
Strengthening the cyber resilience of 5G networks.
In the 5G era, telecom networks are becoming the backbone of our digital society, supporting critical services, vital infrastructure, and millions of users. As cyber threats become more sophisticated, security can no longer be treated as an additional layer. It needs to be built in, intelligent, and able to evolve.
Drawing on its global expertise, Ericsson has developed Security Manager, a cybersecurity platform designed for operators. This demo presents a comprehensive solution for security monitoring, automation, and governance.

ISAC: Detecting and tracking drones with mobile infrastructure
Using mobile networks to detect and track drones with ISAC.
Tomorrow’s mobile networks will do more than connect people and devices. They will become intelligent sensors, capable of detecting and analyzing their surroundings in real time.
À découvrir : This demo shows how the network can use reflected radio signals to locate and track low-altitude objects, such as drones, without the need for dedicated radar systems.
Potential applications include protecting sensitive sites, monitoring borders, improving industrial security, and managing urban airspace.
Built on the collaboration between Ericsson and Orange, this demo reflects an ambitious vision: turning mobile networks into platforms for innovation that can address tomorrow’s major technological and societal challenges.
