Nokia: Shaping the Smart, Secure and Sustainable Networks of Tomorrow

This year, Nokia will showcase its vision for intelligent, secure and sustainable connectivity in the age of artificial intelligence. Building on its longstanding partnership with Orange, Nokia will present the key areas of their collaboration, including AI-native networks, automation, programmable networks and next-generation connectivity technologies.

We are a global leader in connectivity for the AI era, providing the critical network infrastructure the world relies on. Our fixed, mobile and transport networks deliver the trust, security and reliability needed to connect intelligence and unlock the full potential of AI-driven digital transformation.

As the industry addresses growing demands for performance, resilience, sustainability and digital sovereignty, we believe innovation must be open, collaborative and outcome-driven.

Our innovation priorities focus on AI-native networks, autonomous operations, cloud-native architectures, network APIs, cybersecurity and the evolution toward 6G.

Our long-standing partnership with Orange exemplifies this approach through joint innovation initiatives spanning AI-RAN, network automation, programmable networks and next-generation connectivity, helping shape intelligent, secure and sustainable networks for tomorrow.

The Nokia technologies and solutions

Discover Nokia’s three demonstrations at Orange OpenTech 2026, exploring AI-powered networks, enhanced communication services and cybersecurity in the quantum era.

AI RAN

Smarter, higher-performing mobile networks and new services powered by AI.

Faced with the exponential growth of mobile traffic, increasing network complexity and cost pressure, operators must rethink how they manage their infrastructure.

With AI-RAN, Orange, Nokia and NVIDIA are offering a new generation of network architecture, designed to address these major challenges.

The demonstration will illustrate Orange, Nokia and NVIDIA’s ability to co-innovate with its partners to illustrate better use of spectrum and resources, potential operating-cost savings, and new service opportunities.

AI Voice

Live translation and contextual services enhance voice calls.

Voice remains the most natural way to communicate, but language barriers and security concerns can still get in the way. With AI Voice, Nokia demonstrates how AI can bring new capabilities to voice calls without changing the way people use them.

With real-time translation built in, a speaker can talk in their own language while the audience sees an instant translation on screen.

AI Voice also adds another layer of security. During a call, the system can automatically detect a potential scam, such as a suspicious request for a banking code, and alert the user or even end the call if necessary. An integrated AI agent can also provide useful information during the conversation.
